PP or Phi Phi Island is a group of the Islands which will be separated to be PP Don and PP Ley. PP Don is the main land and the place for PP Island Town-where the people can live in. The other PP is PP Ley Island is just the Island and just animals can live there.
However, PP Ley is the place of many interesting places are located such as Maya Bay, Pile Cove, Viking Cave and Monkey Beach. Normally, all the one day tour trips to PP Island must stop all the said places in PP Ley before and continue to PP Don Town for lunch.
In the case, the people need to stay overy nigh on PP Island, they have to stay on PP Don only. And the tourists like to rent the local long tail boat to visit PP Ley.
The other Island in PP Group is Bamboo Island. It is quite far from PP Island to the north. But the beautiful of sea water, sandy beach and coral reef there makes many tourist visit there too.
What do I recommend if you need to visit PP Island:
1. Book one day trip (Pick Up from the Hotel at around 08:00 AM, and come back at about 17:30 PM) In this case you will get Maya Bay, Khai Island, Viking Cave, Monkey Beach, Pele Bay, Loh Samah Bay and PP Don.
2. Book Two Days one Night Package, this case you will get all the same as the item 1, at the first day. And you have time to stay over nigh at PP Island for One night and next half day, the same boat will come for lunch at PP Don and take you back to Phuket at around 12:00 PM.
4. Charter the Private Speed boat: You can get every place you love to see in PP Island Group, but the price will be around 28,000 Baht/Day/Boat.
